I was privileged to attend a lovely bridal shower this past weekend for a dear friend. Even better, it was hosted by dear friends, who didn’t mind me showing up 30 minutes early or staying to chat in the kitchen afterward! Here are some of the pretty details produced by the hard working hostesses. Alas, no pictures of the food (which was scrumptious) because we fell on it like a pack of rabid dogs.
I think this cork board display is brilliant! Love the coordinated papers (and even the thumbtacks!). The flower design was taken from the very cute invitations, which they downloaded and printed for free from here!
One of the hostesses ran out to get the balloons before the party. Unfortunately, the man working at the counter didn’t usually do balloons and couldn’t find specific colors. Luckily, blue and green were right on top of a pile, and look how well they coordinate!
The grandmother of one of the hostesses did all the flower arrangements, aren’t they pretty? Her mom also made the dangerously delicious chocolate pecan favors. What a good example of drawing on the strengths of people you know to pitch in for a party!
(Oh yes, those are my toes/shoes sneaking in to the pic, aren’t they cute!?) Finally, I was tickled to see a present I had given the hostess for her own bridal shower being used as part of the decor! Congrats to Momo and Amanda on a successful shower!
